With Bradford gearing up to develop and deliver its UK City of Culture 2025 programme, it is great to see that the accolade is already helping to attract more world class cultural events to the city. This autumn, Bradford’s Grade II listed heritage events space, Regency Hall, opened its doors to welcome visitors to the Yorkshire premiere of Van Gogh Alive, ‘the world’s most visited immersive, multi-sensory experience’ that exhibits the life and work of the seminal Dutch artist.
Open until the 8th January 2023 – it is fantastic news for the district that Bradford was chosen to host the Yorkshire premiere – with the stunning exhibition having visited more than 80 cities around the world including a smash hit run in Edinburgh as the must-see cultural event of the summer. This is a brilliant addition to the city’s already incredible cultural scene – and further proof of the game-changing impact the UK City of Culture 2025 title is already having on the district.
